Update: I was lucky enough to come across a job only a couple days after being home, where I worked Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm at a dentist’s office. That was incredibly helpful, and interesting. On May 12th i drove up to Lake Placid, and went full on into my summer training. Since then I have been working here with a phenomenal strength coach who the USOC just hired, named Brad DeWeese. It has a lot been hard work, but I am certain that it will pay off in this coming season. It has also been nice to train with other bobsled and skeleton athletes, all last summer I mostly trained by myself. Tomorrow is the longest training session of the week -morning lift, sprint work, then afternoon lift -time to get better!
